David Packman
AI Automation Strategist for UK SMEs. 20+ years scaling commercial teams across HealthTech, FinTech, InsurTech and digital agencies. Twice agency founder. Now helping UK businesses build AI automation strategies that compound.
About David
David founded Agenticise in 2024 to bring enterprise-grade AI automation within reach of UK SMEs in the £4M to £160M revenue band. Most automation providers were either selling generic tools or building systems that businesses couldn't actually use. He believed there was a better way.
Before Agenticise, David spent 20+ years scaling commercial operations across UK and global technology businesses. He served as Chief Growth Officer at Blueberry Life (a specialist life insurer where he built the GTM strategy from the founding team up) and at GoodBox (FinTech). He led global Marketing at Wexer, a digital fitness platform operating in 50+ countries, where he pioneered chatbot adoption that delivered 17x ROI in four months. Earlier roles spanned Babylon Health, Drayson Technologies (deep tech) and Pearson VUE (international operations across Africa).
He is also a twice agency founder. Plucky Marketing, the boutique digital agency he ran from 2013 to 2016, grew to 20+ clients on a bootstrapped basis before he was headhunted to Babylon. The lessons from that build (lean operations, outcome-led engagements, no-fluff communication) are now applied across every Agenticise client engagement.
Today, David works hands-on with UK SME founders, RevOps leaders, agency owners and CEOs to design and implement AI automation strategies that move the business, not just the workflow. The methodology is education-first, human-in-the-loop, and refuses to recommend automation when the right answer is better operations.

How David thinks about AI automation
Automation is not about removing people from decisions. It is about removing them from the work that does not need a person. Done well, automation gives a team back the hours they should have been spending on customers, strategy and judgement in the first place.
The mistake most businesses make is to treat AI as a tool question. It is a strategy question. The right starting point is never "which platform should we buy". It is always "which hours are we losing, and which would we get the most back from reclaiming".
